Pianobear's Home Page

Welcome to my home page. My name is Jerry and I live in Atlanta, Georgia. Although I work for a major check printer, music is my love and my passion. I use the nickname Pianobear because I love bears and I play the piano. You will find information about me and my music on these pages.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I'm not shy.
That's me - Pianobear
The Piano - I've been playing the piano since 2nd grade. I'll let you guess how many years that's been. My main interest is Easy Listening and Contemporary Christian music. My favorite pianist is Jim Brickman. My favorite singer is Michael W. Smith. I am currently church pianist for a Methodist church in Atlanta.
Composing/Arranging - I've composed several numbers that have been performed and recorded by several groups and Individuals. Of course, you've probably not heard of any of the artists who have recorded my music. You can learn more about my music on my music page. I am available for arrangements and commissioned works. I compose everything from contemporary Christian numbers, to love songs, to humorous songs. I do a lot of original hymn arrangements for church.
Musical Directing - I also spend time as Musical Director/Pianist for several local theater productions. I've been Musical Director for "Godspell", "Guys and Dolls", and "A Christmas Melody 3" and "Bye, Bye Birdie". I've accompanied for productions of "I Do, I Do", "Falsettos" and "Pippin".
I am available to provide piano music for Weddings, Parties, Receptions and Musical Productions. Contact me at
